Playing with Animoto Free Video - Handyman Tool Wine Charms

Today I decided to enter a competition offered by Walmart called "Get on the shelf".  Anyone can apply (closes July 31st, 2013) as long as you believe you can fullfill orders from Walmart (gulp!) and have a video of your product.  I decided to enter our Handyman Wine Glass Charms.

The idea of having to create video seemed overwhelming but after some research I found Animoto.com and decided to give it a try.  I was pleasantly suprised to find out making a video (OK slideshow with music, I'm still learning) was not too hard.

Step 1:  Choose your theme.  I went with standard to start (can easily change later on). 

Step 2:  Upload images

Step 3:  Add captions if you would like to each (simply click and type)

Step 4:  Choose your music

Step 5:  Preview and edit or publish

Even in the free version ,which I used, there are so many great background templates and music choices to choose from.  In the end, the site does a great job simplifying the process for the user to output a very profession, cohesive short film.
